I had the opportunity to serve as the lead designer for the UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge, a community-driven initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funding critical cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Every dollar raised by participants directly supports pilot studies and early-phase clinical trials focused on cancer prevention, treatment, and potential cures.
As the event’s designer, I developed the visual identity and branding, ensuring a cohesive and impactful experience across all touchpoints. My responsibilities included:
Designing print and digital marketing materials to drive awareness and participation.
Creating event merchandise, including the official event t-shirt.
Overseeing the visual direction to align with the event’s mission and engagement goals.
Through strategic design, I helped enhance the event’s visibility and contributed to its fundraising success.
